How to authorize Dr.Fone to access iTunes backups on Mac?

Recently, you may have found that Dr.Fone fails to detect iTunes backups on a Mac computer that runs MacOS 10.14 and above. It is because Apple blocks the permission for backup in MacOS 10.14 and above. Here, we provide this detailed guide to help solve this issue with just a few clicks. Please follow the steps below:

1. Click the Apple logo at the upper left corner of the screen, then click System Preferences.

2. Click the Security & Privacy option.

3. If you have set the lock for your computer, please type the password to unlock your computer.

4. Click Full Disk AccessPrivacy

5. Right-click on Dr.Fone program icon, then highlight “Options” and choose “Show in Finder”.

6. Press and hold the left mouse button to move the “Dr.Fone” icon to “Full Disk AccessPrivacy”.

7. If you are using Dr.Fone - WhatsApp Transfer or Dr.Fone - Data Recovery, right-click on its program icon, then highlight “Options” and choose “Show in Finder”.

8. Press and hold the left mouse button to move the icon to “Full Disk Access – Privacy”.

9. After adding Dr.Fone, you will see it in Full Disk Access. Then restart Dr.Fone to detect your backups.
