When backing up and restoring a social app, note the following things:
Viber Backup & Restore:
- Before backing up, make sure that you have logged in to your account on the source device.
- Before restoring, ensure that you have logged in to an account on the target device, and created at least one conversation. Otherwise, data may fail to be restored. If there is still no data restored, update the Viber version on either device to ensure version consistency.
LINE Backup & Restore:
- Before you start, make sure that the LINE account is bound to your email. Otherwise, data may not be backed up. Go to More > Settings > Account to check.
- Before backing up, make sure that you have logged in to your account on the source device.
- Before restoring, make sure that you have logged in to the same account on the target device. (Make sure that the account you logged in for backing up is the same as the one you logged in for restoring.)
