How to check and edit hosts on windows system?

Step 1:
Open C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and copy the hosts file to the desktop.
Step 2:
Right-click the hosts file on the desktop and open it with Notepad.
Step 3:
Edit the hosts file as you need (the customer services will email you what to edit in the hosts), and then save it.
Step 4:
Copy the updated hosts file from the desktop and paste it into C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc to replace the old one.
