There are many reasons why the software cannot be started, which are generally related to the user's computer system environment. If you encounter problems with Filmora not starting normally, you can try the following solutions:
1. Check and close background running Filmora-related processes.
- In the Windows search, type "Task Manager" and open the Task Manager.
- Under the "Processes" tab, check if there are any Filmora-related processes running. If there are, select the process, right-click and choose "End Task". Make sure to force close all Filmora-related processes.
- Restart Filmora to see if the problem is resolved.
- Or you can also try restarting your computer and then opening Filmora.
2. Close system firewall program and antirvus program, reinstall Filmora.

- As there are numerous antivirus software providers, it is impossible to list all the methods for disabling antivirus software here. If conditions permit, it is generally recommended to go to the Task Manager to end all antivirus software-related processes or directly uninstall the antivirus software.
- If you are using a company computer for editing, it is recommended to consult an IT expert and add the Wondershare Filmora folder in the Filmora installation directory to the antivirus software whitelist. The file directory is shown in the image below.
