If the video you want to burn to a DVD exceeds the disc's maximum capacity, you will see an error message. Here are two solutions to resolve this issue:
Solution 1: Adjust Video Quality
-
On the DVD output screen, change the Video Quality setting to "Mid" or "High" and try exporting again.
-
If the higher quality still exceeds the disc capacity, switch to the "Recommend" setting.
-
-
After adjusting the video quality:
-
Click on the Local or Device tab in the export settings.
-
Then, return to the DVD tab to ensure the file size is updated based on the new quality setting.
-
Solution 2: Use a D9 DVD Disc
If adjusting the video quality doesn’t solve the problem, we recommend using a D9 DVD disc (single-sided, dual-layer).
-
A D9 DVD has twice the capacity of a standard D5 DVD, allowing you to burn larger video files.
