How to fix the issue of a previously rendered project becoming un-rendered after saving and reopening it on Mac?

Follow these steps to prevent Filmora from automatically deleting your render cache files:

  1. Access Program Preferences

    • Click the "Wondershare Filmora" menu in the top-left corner of your screen

    • Select "Preferences" from the dropdown menu

  2. Navigate to Performance Settings

    • In the Preferences window, click the "Performance" tab

    • Locate the "Media Cache" section

  3. Adjust Render File Settings

    • Uncheck the option labeled "Automatically delete render files when closing project"

Important Notes:

  • This setting change will help improve performance when reopening projects

  • Render files may still be deleted if you manually clear the cache

  • Keeping render files will use additional storage space on your computer
