How to fix the issue of a previously rendered project becoming un-rendered after saving and reopening it on Windows?

Follow these steps to preserve your render cache files between editing sessions:

  1. Open Program Preferences

    • From the Filmora main interface, click "File" in the top menu bar

    • Select "Preferences" from the dropdown menu

  2. Access Performance Settings

    • In the Preferences window, navigate to the "Media Cache" tab

    • Scroll to the "Preview Render" section

  3. Modify Render Cache Settings

    • Locate the option: "Automatically delete render files when a project file is closed"

    • Remove the checkmark from the checkbox

Additional Information:
• Keeping render files can significantly improve performance when reopening projects
• This may increase storage usage - ensure you have adequate disk space
• Render files are stored in the cache folder and can be manually cleared if needed

Recommended Practice:
For optimal performance, consider periodically clearing old render files through:
File > Preferences > Performance > "Clean Cache Files"
