Follow these simple steps to clean up empty spaces in your project:
-
Select the Gap
-
Click the empty space in your timeline
-
Click once on the gap to highlight it (you'll see it become selected)
-
-
Delete the Gap
-
Click "Delete" from the timeline
-
Alternatively, press the Delete key on your keyboard
-
Pro Tips:
-
The "Auto Ripple" feature (when enabled) will automatically close gaps when deleting clips
Note: Deleting gaps will cause all subsequent clips to shift left, maintaining your project's timing. For projects requiring absolute timing (like music videos), consider leaving gaps or using the "Lock Track" feature before deleting.
