How to install custom fonts in Filmora?

Supported Font Formats

Filmora is compatible with these font file types:

  • TrueType (.ttf)

  • OpenType (.otf)

  • TrueType Collection (.ttc)

Installation Steps

For Windows:

  1. Locate your downloaded font file

  2. Double-click the font file

  3. In the preview window, click Install

  4. Wait for the system confirmation

For macOS:

  1. Find the downloaded font file

  2. Double-click to open

  3. Click Install Font in the dialog box

  4. Authenticate if prompted

Finalizing in Filmora

  • Restart Filmora to refresh the font library

  • New fonts will appear in the text tool dropdown

  • If missing, verify installation in your system's font manager

Troubleshooting Tips:

  • Ensure fonts are installed system-wide (not just for current user)

  • Check font isn't corrupted by testing in other apps

  • Some fonts may require administrator privileges to install
