Why Are My Photos Cropped When Imported into Filmora?

If your photos are automatically cropped when imported, follow these steps to adjust the settings:

  1. Launch Filmora and enter the editing screen.

  2. Go to "File" > "Preferences" > "Edit".

  3. In the "Editing" section, open the "Photo Placement" pull-down menu.

  4. Select "Fit" to ensure your photos are displayed without cropping.

  5. Re-import your photo files.
