What is the optimal fps for video?

The optimal fps varies depending on the medium you are posting your video to.

When you launch Filmora, it will automatically adjust the fps to suit each medium.

YouTube: If you are creating content for your YouTube channel, we recommend 24fps to 60fps. YouTube has also recently added support for 8K video.

TikTok: TikTok supports frame rates from 30fps to 60fps. Choosing a higher frame rate will improve the smoothness of playback, but at the same time, the file size will also be larger.

Instagram: Instagram supports a variety of frame rates, but 30fps is the most common. Like TikTok, it has a good balance between smooth movement and file size, making it a good choice for short video content.

Facebook: Like YouTube, Facebook supports a variety of frame rates. Among them, 30fps is the standard content and is widely used. Also, a higher frame rate is recommended for certain content, such as gameplay videos.
