The optimal fps varies depending on the medium you are posting your video to.
When you launch Filmora, it will automatically adjust the fps to suit each medium.
YouTube: If you are creating content for your YouTube channel, we recommend 24fps to 60fps. YouTube has also recently added support for 8K video.
TikTok: TikTok supports frame rates from 30fps to 60fps. Choosing a higher frame rate will improve the smoothness of playback, but at the same time, the file size will also be larger.
Instagram: Instagram supports a variety of frame rates, but 30fps is the most common. Like TikTok, it has a good balance between smooth movement and file size, making it a good choice for short video content.
Facebook: Like YouTube, Facebook supports a variety of frame rates. Among them, 30fps is the standard content and is widely used. Also, a higher frame rate is recommended for certain content, such as gameplay videos.
