Why is some content missing from my timeline after reopening my project?

If you notice that some content is missing from your timeline after reopening a project, please try the following steps:

1. Confirm the project was saved correctly
Please make sure you saved your edits before closing Wondershare Filmora and that you have reopened the correct project file.

2. Check whether you created a Compound Clip or added a Subproject
If you previously created a Compound Clip or added a Subproject, you may currently be viewing a nested timeline instead of the main timeline.
Please click the timeline navigation bar at the top of the timeline panel and switch back to the Main Timeline to check whether your content is there.

3. Submit feedback if the issue persists
If the problem still occurs, please go to Help > Feedback in Filmora and submit your issue details so our technical team can further investigate it.
