How to fix the installation error on Mac: “cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified”

Step 1: Open System Preferences, go to Security & Privacy, then click General.

Step 2: Click the lock and enter your password to make changes.

Step 3: Select "App Store and identified developers" under the header "Allow apps downloaded from". Then reinstall PDFelement again.

Step 4: If you have selected "App Store and identified developers", but still receive the error message, please click the "Open Anyway" button in the General pane.
