Annual License:
If you purchased an Annual License, you can upgrade for free before your subscription ends, while a Perpetual License requires you to pay for the next major version. Purchasing an Annual License means that you pay a recurring annual subscription fee to access the product based on the term of your subscription. You will lose access to the product if you stop paying for your subscription and are paying for ongoing support and software updates after your current subscription ends.
Perpetual License:
If you purchase a Perpetual License, you will have lifetime access to the version of the software for which you purchased the license, including updates. However, this plan does not include future versions of the software. If a new major version is released, you will need to purchase a new plan to access it.
If you purchase an annual license, during the authorized period, you can upgrade for free even if a major version is released. However, if you purchase a perpetual license, when a major version is released, you can upgrade at a discounted price.
