When basic/standard repair fails to resolve image issues, advanced repair is recommended.
Common issues include:
- Images cannot be previewed or opened correctly.
- Only a portion of the photo is recovered.
- After basic repair, the image still displays abnormalities such as gray screen, black screen, distorted image, mosaic, color blocks, lines, or incomplete display.
- The repair result still shows significant abnormalities in clarity or color, or the image file is severely corrupted, potentially involving damage to the file header, image data structure, or critical marker information.
Advanced repair typically requires uploading a "sample image" for reference. It is recommended to choose a normal photo from the same camera, phone, or storage device as the damaged image, or one with similar format, resolution, and shooting parameters. The closer the sample image is to the original source, the easier it is for the software to identify the file structure and improve the repair success rate.
