Three factors may influence convert speed.
1.Length, size of your source file. Longer length and larger size will spend more time on conversion.
2.Your computer configuration. Higher configuration, higher speed.
3.The conversion output setting you chose. The higher output formatting will take longer due to the increased settings.
For example, a 2-hour-long, 480*320, 1GB MP4 file converting to MKV may spend less conversion time than a 2-hour-long, 1920*1080, 1GB MP4 file converting to MKV.
