Is there no annotation toolbar during recording?

First, you can check whether the 'Auto-hide controls while recording' option is activated in the recording preference settings.

If it is enabled, you can deactivate it and then record it;

If it is not activated, you can click on the program icon in the task toolbar at the bottom to display the annotation toolbar again.
