After updating to the latest version of Filmora, projects I created in the previous version disappeared.

If your projects created in a previous version of Filmora are no longer visible after updating, it may be due to compatibility issues between versions. Here’s how to resolve this:

Steps to Recover Your Projects:

  1. Search for Project Files:

    • On your computer, search for the project file extension .wfp (for versions 12, 13, and 14) or .wve (for versions 7 and 8).

    • This will help you locate the project files created in the older version.

  2. Avoid Cross-Version Editing:

    • Editing projects across major versions (e.g., between version 8 and version 12) is not recommended, as it may damage your project files.

    • Always export your project to the current version before updating to a new version.
