In versions 7 and 8, project files (extensions: .wve for Windows, .wsve for MAC) are not compatible between the Windows and MAC versions.
However, project files (extension .wfp) created with Filmora9/FilmoraX/Filmora11 are compatible between Windows and MAC.
To open a project (extension .wfp) created with the Windows version of Filmora9/FilmoraX/Filmora11 in the MAC version of Filmora9/FilmoraX/Filmora11, follow the steps below.
1. Reopen the project file (extension .wfp) created on a Windows PC,
click "File" > "Archive Project" and save the project again on your computer's desktop.
2. Put the resaved project file (extension .wfp) on a USB or other device and transfer it to your MAC.
3. Start Filmora9/FilmoraX/Filmora on your MAC and double-click the project file (extension .wfp) transferred from step 2 above to open it and continue editing on your MAC.
Similarly, you can also open a project (extension .wfp) created with Filmora9/FilmoraX/Filmora for Mac using the steps above in Filmora9/FilmoraX/Filmora11 for Windows.
*The versions of Filmora for Windows and Filmora for Mac must match.
