If you updated via the in-app update prompt, Filmora will automatically overwrite the old version; uninstallation is not required.
If you used a download link for the new version, Filmora will normally automatically detect if other versions exist on your computer and prompt you with a pop-up window asking if you want to directly overwrite that version. You can choose to overwrite the old version.
