How to collect the log file of Filmora Mac?

Method 1: In-App Log Fetch (Recommended)

  1. Generate Logs

    • Launch Filmora

    • Navigate to: Help > Fetch Log

  2. Prepare for Submission

    • The system will open the Log folder automatically

    • Select all files in the folder (Cmd+A)

    • Right-click → Compress to create filmoraLog.zip

Method 2: Manual Log Retrieval

  1. Locate Installation Directory

    • On the Mac desktop, click Go -> Go to Folder 
    • Input log path ~/Library/Application Support/Wondershare Filmora Mac/ProgramData and then click Go
  2. Compress Files

    • In the pop-up folder, locate the Log folder and compress it into one zip file and then send it to us. 

Method 3: Integrated Feedback System

  1. Submit Support Request

    • Go to: Help > Feedback

    • Describe your issue in detail

  2. Automatic Attachments

    • System includes relevant logs automatically

    • Generates support ticket with tracking number


Submission Guidelines

  • For Crashes: Include exact error messages

  • For Freezes: Note what operations preceded the issue

  • For Errors: Provide reproduction steps

Note: Logs contain diagnostic data only - no project files or personal information are included.
