How to copy custom fonts to another computer?

  • Filmora Win version 10.5 to 11 does not support the transfer of custom fonts to another computer.
  • For Filmora Win V10.5 and below, you can refer to the following steps:

1. Copy all the files in the C:\ProgramData\Wondershare Filmora\Preset folder from the old computer

2. Exit Filmora on the new computer, and then paste the copied files to the C:\ProgramData\Wondershare Filmora\Preset directory on the new computer.

3. Relaunch Filmora on the new computer. 

  • For Filmora Win V12 and above, follow these steps to upload custom fonts to the cloud:

1. Automatic Upload: Click File -> Preferences -> General -> Sync Settings -> Turn on Automatically sync custom preset files to the cloud.
2. Manual Upload: Click Title -> Mine -> Custom -> Click the cloud icon on the upper right corner to upload.

To access the custom fonts on a new computer, log in to Filmora with your WSID account and download the custom fonts from the same location in the cloud.

  • For Filmora Mac V11 and below, please follow these steps:

1. Copy the customized fonts and colors saving folder.

To copy the customized folder for the Official Website version, please refer to https://drive.google.com/file/d/1a7zc-wqwoytHGjl9LRCsedLL4UYBlqtI/view?usp=sharing.

To copy the customized folder for the AppStore version, please refer to https://drive.google.com/file/d/1a7zc-wqwoytHGjl9LRCsedLL4UYBlqtI/view?usp=sharing.

Note: The 'ColorPresent' folder is for saving customized colors, and 'CustomPackage' is for customized fonts.

2. Exit Filmora on the new computer, and then paste the copied folders to the corresponding folders on the new computer.

3. Relaunch Filmora on the new computer.

  • For Filmora Mac version 12 and above, please follow the steps below to upload custom fonts to the cloud:

1. Automatic or manual upload:

- Automatic upload: Go to Wondershare Filmora 12 -> Preferences -> General -> Sync Settings -> Turn on Automatically sync custom preset files to the cloud.
- Manual upload: Click on Title -> Mine -> Custom -> Click on the icon in the upper right corner to upload (see mceclip3.png).

2. Log in to Filmora on a new computer with your WSID account and download the custom fonts from the same location in the cloud.
