What can we do if the record camera failure as No write permission?

Follow these steps to modify where Filmora saves your files:

  1. Access Preferences

    • Open Filmora

    • Navigate to: File > Preferences > Folders

  2. For Latest Versions (Filmora 13+)

    • Locate "Default Storage Location"

    • Click "Change" and select a new drive/folder with write permissions

    • Click Apply to save changes

  3. For Older Versions (Filmora 12 and below)

    • Find "Recorded Files" path setting

    • Specify a new directory with proper permissions

    • Click OK to confirm

  4. Finalize Changes

    • Close and restart Filmora

    • Begin new recordings to verify the new storage location

Important Notes:
• Ensure the new location has sufficient disk space
• Administrator permissions may be required for some system paths
• Existing files won't be automatically moved - only new recordings will use the new location
