If your project file loses materials when reopened, follow these steps based on the source of your footage:

1. Footage Imported from an SD Card or Phone

• Solution: Reconnect the SD card or phone to your computer before reopening the project file.

2. Footage Imported from Your Computer’s Local Disk

Case ①: Footage Deleted from the Original Location

• Solution:

  1. Restore the deleted footage from the Trash to its original save location.

  2. Reopen the project file.

Case ②: Footage Moved or Renamed

• Solution:

  1. Reopen the project file.

  2. When the "Find Lost Media Files" screen appears, click the "Search" button to relink the materials.

  3. After relinking all materials, click "OK" to open the project file.
