Why can’t I open the project?

There are two possibilities that you can’t open the project as below:

Projects created below version 9 cannot be opened with Filmora of version 9 and above. If this is the case, install filmora V8 to open the project.
Projects created in version 10.7 and above can’t be opened with Filmora version lower than 10.7. If this is the case, update Filmora to the latest version.
