When backing up and restoring a social app, note the following:
- Viber Backup & Restore:
1. Before backing up, ensure that you have logged in to your account on the source device.
2. Before restoring, ensure that you have logged in to an account on the target device, and created at least one conversation. Otherwise, data may fail to be restored.
3. If there is still no data restored, update the Viber version on either device to ensure the version consistency.
- LINE Backup & Restore:
1. Before you start, ensure that the LINE account is bound to your email. Otherwise, data may not be backed up. Go to More > Settings > Account to check.
2. Before backing up, ensure that you have logged in to your account on the source device.
3. Before restoring, ensure that you have logged in to the same account on the target device.
4. Please make sure that the account you logged in for backing up is the same as the one you logged in for restoring.
