Step 1: Launch the System Migration Tool
Open Recoverit and select System Migration from the main interface.

Step 2: Identify the Source System Disk
Recoverit automatically detects your current boot and system disk. No manual selection is required — the tool identifies it accurately.

Step 3: Choose a Target Disk
Select a different physical disk — such as an SSD or HDD — as the destination for migration.
Note that the target disk must meet two critical requirements:
The available space on the target disk must be greater than or equal to the used space on the source system partition.
All existing data on the target disk will be permanently erased. Be sure to back up any important files before proceeding.

Step 4: Confirm and Start Migration
You will see a clear warning reminding you to back up critical data from the target disk. Click Continue only after confirming that essential files have been safely backed up. Migration begins automatically — do not interrupt power or close the application during the process.

Step 5: Review Migration Result
Upon completion, Recoverit displays a success or failure notification.
