Background:
In order to ensure the quality of the product, the underlying code of V3.0.0 of UBackit was redesigned. However, you may encounter an issue that files backed up by older versions of UBackit cannot be restored directly through V3.0.0 after the update. Please do not worry. This problem can be solved by the following solutions.
Solution:
You can restore through the Menu -> Restore Tool in UBackit V3.0.0 and open the restore widget.
Operation Steps:
- File Restore:
1. Select the folder where the backup is saved;
2. Select the destination folder in which the restored files need to be saved;
3. Click the Restore button to start the restore.
- Disk Restore:
1. Select the folder where the disk backup was saved and double-click to open it;
2. Locate the VHD suffix file, right-click on the file and click Mount;
3. After Mount, a virtual disk will appear in the File Explorer, click on it to access all its contents, and then you can save files manually as needed.
