RAM, or Random Access Memory, is a type of computer memory that temporarily stores data that your device is actively using or processing. It allows your device to quickly access this data, which speeds up tasks like running programs, loading files, and handling system operations.
Think of RAM as your computer’s short-term memory. When you open a program, it’s loaded into RAM to make it run faster. However, RAM is volatile memory, which means it only holds data while your computer is on. When you turn off your device, everything in RAM is cleared.
Having more RAM generally means your computer can handle more tasks simultaneously without slowing down, which is why devices with higher RAM are better suited for multitasking and running resource-intensive applications.
Make sure to close any unnecessary programs or applications running in the background to free up memory.
Or increase RAM Memory on your computer. This can provide additional RAM for processing the scan.
