System migration does not automatically change your computer’s boot order.
✅ After a successful migration:
– The new disk contains a fully functional, bootable copy of your operating system.
– However, your computer will continue booting from the original disk unless you manually configure the boot priority in BIOS/UEFI.
⚠️ If you do not update the boot order:
– Your system will restart and boot normally from the old disk — this is expected behavior, not an error or sign of migration failure.
