Why the recover files corrupted or cannot open?

If the recovered files can't open, please check the following solution:

  • Install the Latest Version:

Download and install the latest version of Recoverit from https://recoverit.wondershare.com.

  • Complete the Scan:

Ensure that the scan is fully completed.

  • Recover Files:

Recover the files and check them, rather than just previewing them in Recoverit.

  • Enhanced Recovery for Videos:

If video files cannot be opened, try using the Enhanced Recovery feature.

If the issue persists, please send us the following for further checking:

  • Some corrupted files.
  • Some sample files (same format and can open).
  • All files in the log folder of Recoverit (on Windows, on macOS).
