How to do if real-time location does not show the correct location information or update new location data?

FamiSafe will need to have access to the location data on the kid's device to update the real-time location. Please follow the steps below to check whether GPS service has been turned on and whether GPS permission is granted to FamiSafe on the kid's device. And also please make sure the kid's device has a good network connection all the time.

  •  On a kid's Android device:

1. Go to Settings>Location and enable Location service. Or you can go to Settings>Security & location>Location to enable it. If you have a work profile, tap Advanced and then turn on Location. Or you can search the keyword Location directly to find the Location service and turn it on.

2. Go to Settings>Applications>FamiSafe>Permissions>Location and grant the Location permission to FamiSafe.

 

  • On kid's iOS device:

1. Go to Settings>Privacy>Location services and turn it on.

2. Go to Setting>FamiSafe>Location and check whether the Location has been set as Always Allow for FamiSafe.
