To prevent children from uninstalling Fammy without parental consent, uninstall protection is enabled by default. Please follow the instructions below based on your child’s device type.

For Android Devices

To prevent unauthorized removal, Fammy includes uninstall protection on Android devices. Follow the steps below to uninstall it properly.

1. Go to Settings > Apps (Applications), locate Fammy, and tap Uninstall.

2. If the Uninstall option is greyed out:

   • Go to Settings > Security > Device administrators.

   • Disable Fammy.

   • You may be prompted to enter your FamiSafe account password to confirm.

3. Return to Settings > Apps > Fammy and tap Uninstall again.

For iOS Devices

Step 1: Delete the App

1. Tap and hold the Fammy icon on the Home Screen until it starts to wiggle.

2. Tap the “×” icon in the upper-left corner.

3. Confirm to delete the app.

Step 2: Remove the MDM Profile

1. Go to Settings > General > Device Management.

2. Select FamiSafe.

3. Tap Remove Management and confirm.

Note:
If you plan to reinstall Fammy on your child’s iOS device, make sure both the app and the MDM profile have been removed. After that, you can reinstall Fammy from the App Store and follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall the MDM profile.

For Windows Devices

1. Click the Fammy icon in the system tray (bottom-right corner of the taskbar).

2. Select Quit Fammy.

3. Enter your FamiSafe account password to close the program.

4. Go to Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall or change a program.

5. Select Wondershare Fammy and click Uninstall.

6. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the uninstallation.

For Mac Devices

1. 1. On your child’s Mac, open Library > Application Support > FamiSafe > bin.

   2. Locate and launch FamisafeUninstall.app.

   3. Enter the Mac administrator password when prompted.

   4. A program named FamiSafe Uninstall will appear in the Dock. Click it.

   5. Enter your FamiSafe account password for verification.

   6. Click Continue to complete the uninstallation.
