The apps' icons disappeared when I blocked them in my kid's iOS device

Is it normal that the apps' icons disappear when I blocked those apps on my kid's iOS device?

Yes, it's just hidden from the homepage of the kid's device when apps are blocked. It can appear again after you unblock them. FamiSafe will not uninstall any apps on the kid's device.
