Currently, there are three kinds of caches with Filmora, render caches, proxy caches, and media caches. Follow the below steps to clear them.
Step 1: Open an empty project with Filmora.
Step 2: For Filmora version lower than V12.3.0, go to File Preferences Performance, click Clean under Preview Render and Proxy, and click Save.For Filmora version above V12.3.0, go to File Preferences Media cache, click Clear under Preview Render Files and Proxy Files, and click Apply.
Step 3: Close Filmora and open File Explorer, input %temp%Wondershare Filmora and Enter into the caches folders.
Step 4: Find and delete folders MediaInfo and MediaLibrary.
Then all the media caches have been deleted, you can restart filmora to enjoy your editing now.
